Where do you start when planning your website?  There are so many options to choose from, so many techie terms that have the majority of us creatives.

Knowing someone who has walked the path before us and guide us.

Hello, I’m Steph, and I’ve been building websites since the late 90’s.  I’ve used tons of different web services over the years. Some great, some most definitely not.

When you’re a creative, I know you’d rather be making your art, your surface patterns designs or focusing on developing your craft – not stressing about getting started with your first website.

This is why I recommend the following, to take some of the stress out of getting your creative business online.

Please note, I only recommend services and tools that I have used and found useful.

For Domains (Website Address) and Website Hosting

To get started with your first website, you need to buy a web address (domain name) and web hosting (where your website lives).  I’ve used lots of different web hosting and domain name (your web address) and the service that I recommend is Hostinger.

Hostinger is a great service for creative business owners who want to build their first portfolio website on a budget.

You can buy both your domain name and web hosting from them.

Simply, choose the web hosting package you that you need and use the domain name search function to find the web address you wish to use.

We also recommend Hostinger because they have a feature that helps you get your WordPress website up and running.

Check them out!
